Computer Lab Inauguration
MAHER – a home for our beloved, They were super glad to have us meet them yet again. Plus this time it was for something much bigger- a computer lab set up.
In this Tech world use of computers is inevitable. And making this inevitable resource available to MAHER students was far past being a necessity. As we strongly believe on “PADHEGA INDIA TABHI TOH BADHEGA INDIA”.
Sister Lucy and Amruta Setting Path for Kids.
The highlight of the day- Sister Lucy, an exemplary woman. As she stood there, strong with great authority and power, her personality resonated her story in making MAHER what it is now. As she spoke, her words acted like an eye opener to many, sharing with us ‘how it is not the fault of the children to be underprivileged. Thus, it’s each ones responsibility to fulfill all their needs.’ I would say the students are real lucky to have a mentor like her. If you want to know what ‘having a purpose in life’ means, go meet her once.
Our special guest Amruta shared her story from being a helpless girl at an orphanage to become a torch bearer of the stir for quota in government system for Orphan kids.
We really feel instead of making movies like Sanju and justifying their acts we should spread stories of such strong ladies from our society to enlighten and beautify characters to make this world a better place.
As our A.P.J. Kalam sir once said “Where there is righteousness in the heart, there is beauty in the character. When there is beauty in the character, there is harmony in the home. When there is harmony in the home, there is order in the nation. When there is order in the nation, there is peace in the world”
Special Session for Girls
The day continued with our Doctor’s Nilima Patil guidance on personal hygiene for all followed by specific personal hygiene guidance for girls during their menstrual cycle. Awareness towards one’s personal hygiene empowered the kids to live a better/ clean life.
Shivanjali Helping Hands has thus, constantly worked towards enriching the lives of these kids,who are the future of our country.
