How we celebrated 🙂
Every Child Deserves Love..
And that’s what we wanted to spread by Celebrating Holi with the SAMPARC kids. The Festival of Colors brought a festive spirit at the orphanage as all the children were soaked in varied colors and their vibrant laughter’s.
Everyone felt home when the volunteers of Shivanjali Helping Hands and kids of SAMPARC came together to paint each other in colors wiping away all differences.
It was a treat to the eyes watching the colorful crowd dance at the apt Bollywood songs and enjoy Holi.
The celebration didn’t stop there as the kids went on to play Holi with mud and water. Holi turned out to be a mud bath spa.
The little smiles of the kids when they saw us coming had now turned into friendly, jovial laughter’s.
This continued for hours together, where not hunger nor heat mattered. What mattered was the feeling of belongingness that was created among each present there.
Hence, we say, how the kids brightened up our day and not how Shivanjali Helping Hands contributed towards their joy. Because it’s truly that way. Instead of the usual chaotic Holi this was a more embracing and heart touching cerebration for everyone present.
